Saffron Spreader Bar & Cuff Set - Red/Black

The bar is a matte black 63.75 cm tube with four welded rings. Each cuff adjusts with a buckle and has a swivel snap hook, so you can restrain wrists, ankles or both. Everything comes in the same box, in red and black.

The essentials: Saffron Spreader Bar & Cuff Set

• 63.75 cm (25.1 in): The length of the bar, a matte black tube
• 4 cuffs: For wrists and ankles, with buckle fastening
• 4 welded rings: These are the attachment points on the bar
• Swivel snap hook: Each cuff clips to the bar or to another cuff
• Vegan faux leather: The cuffs contain no animal leather
• Light padding: Polyurethane foam under the faux leather

Who the Saffron Spreader Bar & Cuff Set is for, and who it isn't

It suits you if

• You want to try keeping your legs or arms apart with a spreader bar.
• You want a bar and cuffs together, without buying anything else.
• You prefer faux leather cuffs to animal leather.
• You want to change position by clipping wrists, ankles or the cuffs to each other.

Better look elsewhere if

• You want a bar that extends or comes apart. This one is a 63.75 cm tube with welded rings.
• You want heavily padded cuffs. These have light padding.
• You prefer real leather cuffs. These are faux leather.

Size and measurements

The bar is 63.75 cm (25.1 in) long, a little more than twice the long side of an A4 sheet placed end to end. We haven't confirmed the measurements of the cuffs; they adjust with a buckle and fit most people.

How to use the Saffron Spreader Bar & Cuff Set

1. Agree beforehand on a word or signal to stop, and always respect it.
2. Fasten each cuff around the wrist or ankle and adjust it with the buckle. It should feel firm, but you should be able to fit one finger between the cuff and the skin.
3. Clip the snap hook of each cuff to one of the four rings on the bar, or to another cuff.
4. Change position by unclipping the snap hook and attaching it to another ring on the bar or to another cuff, without having to unbuckle the cuffs.
5. Undo the snap hooks first and then the buckles when you finish.

Cleaning

Wipe the cuffs and the bar with a damp cloth and a little mild soap, dry everything with another cloth and let it air before storing.

Our tips

• Never leave a restrained person alone.
• Check hands and feet often. If they get cold, tingle or change colour, loosen the cuffs straight away.
• Do not tighten the cuffs over a sore area or over wounds.
• Keep a pair of round-tip scissors close by in case someone needs to be released quickly.
